Project and Engineering Surveying

Clark Fortune McDonald has a long experience of project and engineering surveying in the Lakes District, in particular relating to construction site surveys, investigation, setting out and monitoring, a number of which require innovative and new approaches to deal with both the topography of the district and the specialised types of landuse associated with adventure tourism in the district.

Tiwai Point Aluminium Smelter expansion

January 1981 to November 1982

The firm of Clark Brewster McDonald & Associates was contracted by Bechtel Pacific to provide engineering surveying services on Stage 4 of the Tiwai Point Aluminium Smelter expansion. McDonald and Fortune activity involved with supervision of this project.
